Feel the Love

Valentine's Day is upon us; the pure and delightful holiday about love.  Some roll their eyes feeling pressure to produce a card or a gift and scowl at the idea of it.  How sad for them.  Let's all embrace the concept of loving and being loved.  It's not about the marketing mecca of the US buying cards, flowers or candy; it's about the message.  Do it your own way.  Send love to your neighbor, children, relatives, pets, friends, strangers, your work colleagues and of course, to your partner in life.  If you don't have one, make a list of all the qualities you desire in a mate and get out there!!  Meet all kinds of people; don't look for "the one"  ~ just enjoy the company of new acquaintances.  And if, they aren't for you, that's OK; send them love and continue to meet others with an open mind and heart.  Your true love will come.
Giving love is why we are here.  Experiencing love is why we are here.  We are all connected.  Whether you realize it or not, we are all pure LOVE and sharing that with another is the most important and beautiful thing we can ever do.  So, put away your scorn for the "man-made holiday" and truly listen to the message.  Love is all around.  Feel it, share it, know it and be it.
