Summer in Milwaukee

Having lived in this delightful city for a dozen years now, it has been made clear to me that the residents here view Summer as the most fleeting of all seasons.  I write this blog because the more "power" each and everyone give to this sentiment, the more you are attracting it to you!!  How is this so?  If everyone of us changed our consciousness to the belief that Spring and Summer here are lengthy and lovely we will receive more seasonal weather for each season and it will "seem" longer!  (You are all aware that each season is the same length!!).  Also, it would be so great if all the fabulous festivals, art shows, events and parties held here in the Summer months could be spread out in the Fall a bit.  By the way; has anyone ever noticed how beautiful the weather is here in September?  Just because the kids are back in school doesn't change anything; we all still have the weekends!  
So, I ask of each and everyone of you to ban from your conversation any notion about Summer being fleeting . . . and remember, it doesn't officially end till September 22nd! 

Happy Summer!!  It's still here!!

And as a closing footnote; learn to embrace Fall and especially, Winter too; each season brings it's own beauty.  You do still live here and experience these seasons every year; LIVE while you LIVE!! Appreciate and enjoy life every moment, every day, every week, every month, every season, every year!
